Very Nice – Workmanship Issues,
I bought this for my wife who is an avid seamstress. It turned out to be a nice little item that is exactly as described here. It plays a nice tune, Buttons and Bows, and has a semi-operating sewing machine that turns along with the tune. I did notice that the workmanship left a little to be desired. There were some minor scratches on the sewing machine and some of the screws that retain the music maker were over tightened and left an indentation in the wood. Not enough to really detract from the overall impression, but noticeable. Overall I give it four stars – a nice item, almost heirloom quality but for workmanship issues. Interestingly, the provider would not ship the item until I let them know that it was a music box and not a working sewing machine! Whatever! I like it. My wife likes it. You will like it too.
